As sure as the sun sets before rising at dawn, people will always find time to lambast the next big AAA title on Metacritic. It’s an inevitability that no matter how great a game is, there will always be those that deem it necessary to give out scores of 0 and 1, just because.
The system is flawed, there’s no doubting that. If a particular group of people don’t like a game, like they can quite easily bring down its reputation with a few well-placed negative reviews. In a lot of cases, the games aren’t necessarily even that bad, just not quite what expected.
