From what we’ve seen of Breath of the Wild, the game appears to be much closer to a traditional fantasy RPG than the other entries in the series, with troupes including item durability and player stats. So collecting food items to cook up to regenerate health sure seems like something that fits naturally in the game.
Breath of the Wild will be released for both the Wii U and NX next year.
