While a new year brings with it new games for Xbox Game Pass, it also means that a new wave of games will be removed from the service. January 2022 is no exception, with seven games set to leave the service by the middle of the month.
Which Games Are Being Removed From Xbox Game Pass?
On January 15th, Desperados 3 and Mount And Blade: Warband will be removed from the Console, PC and Cloud gaming libraries. Meanwhile, Ghost of a Tale and Yiik: A Postmodern RPG will be gone from the PC Game Pass library, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be taken away from the Console library, and Pandemic will be Thanos-snapped away from both Console and PC.
As for the seventh game, PUBG: Battlegrounds (though if the subtitle is “Battlegrounds”, the hell does BG stand for?) is getting removed from the Game Pass library on January 10th. Fret not though, as the game will be going free to play on January 12th.
If you want to carry on playing any of the six games that are being removed from Game Pass on January 15th, you can purchase each of them from the Microsoft Store for a 20% discount thanks to Game Pass. All progress will also carry over when you purchase the full game, meaning you can carry on where you’ve left off.
