Jump Force PC and PS4 Patch Rolling Out Today

Xbox One will come later in the week.

Jump Force - Review - PS4

After releasing last week, Bandai Namco’s Jump Force today rolls out some much need fixes in its 1.03 patch.

This initial patch has already begun to arrive for most PS4 and PC players and is set to address a number of issues that have hampered the anime crossover title since launch, such as the ungodly loading times and unskippable cutscenes that have left a bad taste in players’ mouths since launch.

The patch was announced earlier in the week but this is what Bandai Namco have announced will be in the version 1.03 updates so far:

– Loading time improvements
– Ability to skip cutscenes
– Information Board function added to the lobby
– Stability improvements
– Battle bug fixes

A further tweet also confirmed that the development team are actively working on additional patches to improve the overall experience.

The rollout of this patch for Xbox One, however, will not arrive until later in the week.

While version 1.02 made adjustments in other areas, such as improving the overall stability of the game and story event renditions, the reduction of in-game loading time will be a huge sigh of relief and welcome contribution to Jump Force. As touched upon in our review of the game earlier this week, loading times have been one of the game’s biggest drawbacks.

Fingers crossed, this will make for a smoother Jump Force experience and stop fans from turning Super Saiyan out of sheer rage alone.
