Here’s 14 Minutes of Spiders’ GreedFall Gameplay

This is looking promising.

Ahead of its release early next month, Focus Home and Spiders have shared a 14-minute gameplay walkthrough for GreedFall, which has been earning some buzz recently with comparisons to classic BioWare aplenty.

GreedFall entails you trying to save your homeland from a disease that is ravaging it. You must also choose which side of a conflict you belong on and make many companions along the way. There will apparently be zero fetch quests, which is a relief.

You can check out the footage below.

The video goes through attributes, how the game changes at night, setting up camp and much more.

The combat looks actually rather great, like a more updated version of Inquisition. The animations in general look far better than previous Spiders games; I remember not being too impressed by their last game, The Technomancer.

The map also seems a lot more freeing than their previous game, though it must be said that the dialogue audio quality is a little raspy based on this gameplay. The facial animations aren’t amazing, either, but not bad enough to distract.

For those looking for a classic RPG to tuck into, GreedFall launches on September 10th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can pre-order it on Humble for PC and Amazon for console.
