Netflix has begun ramping up its Gilmore Girls revival with a major announcement this week. On June 1, all seven seasons of the original show will be available on Netflix around the world.

The reveal came from the show’s original star Lauren Graham, a.k.a Lorelai Gilmore, in a neat little video. For fans of the show this will mean having to cancel all non-urgent social engagements for the next few weeks. Re-watching Gilmore Girls will quickly consume their lives. Or is that just me?

The revival, titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, will likely hit the streaming service later this year if Graham is to be believed. Made up of four feature length episodes spread across the course of a single year, the new show has already confirmed the return of much of the show’s original cast to Star’s Hollow. Even recurring characters, such as town oddball Kirk and Dance instructor Miss Patty, will be showing up for the comeback.

If you’ve never seen Gilmore Girls before, Netflix’s move to dump all seven seasons on their website at once might actually be for you. The show follows the single-mother-and-daughter-duo of Lorelai  and Rory Gilmore, who live in the idyllic town of Star’s Hollow. They spend most of their time at the local diner, run by working class grump Luke, where they spout fast paced dialogue about obscure pop culture. Trust me when I tell you that the whole thing just works.

If you have a Netflix account and you’re reading this after June 30, go watch it now.
