Ghost Recon: Wildlands Free To Play This Weekend On PC and Consoles

Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Ubisoft have announced that this year’s 4-player tactical co-op open world shooter extravaganza Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be available to play for free this weekend. Boy, that was a lot of buzzwords.

This free play event, which extends to PC, PS4 and Xbox One, coincides with today’s free Ghost War update, which introduces a 4v4 PVP mode to the game. This mode will also be playable as part of this free weekend. If you’re interested, check out the mode’s launch trailer below for more details.

Should you be interested in making a visit to drug cartel ruled land of Bolivia, the event will be running from Thursday 12th October to Sunday 15th October. Eager beaver PC players can currently pre-load the game using their uPlay account, because uPlay has to be good for something I guess.

If you like what you see this weekend, the game will be available for a 50% discount, and all progress from the trial period will carry over into the full game. If you missed this game first time around, or like me, you couldn’t quite get into it when it launched, now is the perfect time to try Wildlands.
