Fortnite Playable On Nintendo Switch Right Now [UPDATED]
Head on over to the Switch eShop and start downloading Fortnite.
As already speculated prior to E3 2018, Nintendo have announced Fortnite coming to the Switch and that it is playable at 10am. Say goodbye to the rest of your working week.
If you head on over to the Nintendo eShop, you should find Fortnite waiting to be downloaded at 10am — the skeleton of the listing was already uploaded way in advance. If you don’t see it yet, don’t be surprised; these “instant” launches never work as smoothly as they should.
Fortnite on Switch is the Battle Royale version of the game; Save the World is again something of an afterthought. On that front, we should be hearing about Save the World going F2P after its Early Access launch sometime this summer, so keep those peepers peeped.
For the uninitiated, Fortnite Battle Royale drops up to one hundred players on a map with an ever-encroaching storm pushing players closer and closer to one another until there’s only one left standing. It’s addictive, which is probably why it’s the biggest game in the world right now. The best part? It’s also free.
