Phil Spencer spent a lot of time hyping this one up during the Xbox E3 Briefing, but I can’t have been the only that wasn’t sure what the hell he was on about. Turns out some internet research was required, and that Crossfire is the most played game of all time by player count, thanks to its popularity in Asia. Well now the free-to-play shooter is coming to the Xbox One in the form of CrossfireX. Check out the announcement trailer below.
No gameplay was revealed in the trailer, but SmileGate Entertainment’s free-to-play shooter is packed with multiplayer modes and content on PC, so fingers crossed that the majority of that content will makes its way to CrossfireX when it arrives first on Xbox One next year.
