ALBUM PREMIERE: The Junebugs – Brothers In Music

The Junebugs

Ahead of its release on August 4th, we’ve managed to get our pesky claws on a premiere of Brothers In Music from The Junebugs for you.

The Portland natives are a folk-leaning trio with big aspirations, fine-tuning their chemistry and own sound with sets of covers in hotels and bars. You can hear some subtle nods to their inspirations -which include the likes of Janis Joplin and Neil Young- on the album, which, when combined with its almost charmingly rough edges, makes it an easy listen.

Check it out below.

The band are also playing a bunch of shows to promote the new album, including a launch party on August 5th. Here’s the full list:

June 14th // Bend, OR // Old St. Francis School
July 16th // Sandy, OR // Sandy Summer Sounds
July 29th // Hillsboro, OR // Washington County Fair
August 5th // Portland, OR // Mississippi Studios
