A Plague Tale: Requiem is the next installment of the excellent narrative adventure game from Asobo Studio, but sometimes it can be handy to know how far you are into the game so you can plan out your time. With that in mind, here’s how many chapters A Plague Tale: Requiem has in total.
Like the previous game, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Requiem boasts 17 chapters in total across the entire game. These chapters are broken down into 16 regular chapters and one additional chapter that serves as a post-credits epilogue. While some of the earlier chapters are pretty long, the last couple are quite brief and extremely linear. Once you hit chapter 13, you’re closer to the end than you might think.
Here’s the full list of chapters and names in A Plague Tale: Requiem. Once again, big spoiler warning here.
1. Under A New Sun
2. Newcomers
3. A Burden Of Blood
4. Protector’s Duty
5. In Our Wake
6. Leaving All Behind
7. Felons
8. A Sea Of Promises
9. Tales And Revelations
10. Bloodline
11. The Cradle Of Centuries
12. The Life We Deserve
13. Nothing Left
14. Healing Our Wounds
15. Dying Sun
16. King Hugo
17. Legacy Of De Rune Family
There’s plenty of collectibles and items to discover across all 17 chapters, some of which can be incredibly easy to miss, so it’s handy to know that there is a chapter select feature that lets you revisit every moment in the game. Each chapter also has its own specific checkpoints, letting you revisit specific parts of A Plague Tale: Requiem more efficiently. The chapter select even tells you how many collectibles are in each level, making it easier to know where to focus your efforts.
With 17 chapters, A Plague Tale: Requiem certainly isn’t a short game, but it’s nowhere near the length of some huge RPGs either. If you’ve got a few nights free, A Plague Tale: Requiem is absolutely a solid use of your time.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is available now on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S.
