The United Kingdom has a lot to answer for after they chose Candy Crush over actual video games as their favourite game of all time.
Narrowly beating out the Grand Theft Auto series, Candy Crush is a mobile game which involves tapping loads of things over and over, leaving players addicted to it like twitching crackhead needing their fix. Considering my addictive personality, I am lucky I have never played it, lest I go around licking jelly beans in the hope they pop and give me points.
3300 people were quizzed in the YouGov poll about their favourite video game which was then cross-referenced with the findings from another poll which asked 1700 people which games they preferred the most and least. Below are the top results:
1. Candy Crush
2. Grand Theft Auto
3. FIFA
4. Call of Duty
5. The Sims
6. Civilization
7. Mario Kart
8. Super Mario
9. Tomb Raider
10. Tetris
11. Championship/Football Manager
12. Pac-Man
13. Sonic
14. Final Fantasy
