Following the mega-releases from WWE contracts late last year, a huge amount of talent is now available to compete wherever they please as of today. WWE released a tonne of contracted wrestlers in November of last year due to ‘budget cuts’, each of those wrestlers were bound to a no-compete clause of 90 days, which runs out today.

The 11 wrestlers in question are listed below:

  • Keith Lee
  • Mia Yim
  • Nia Jax
  • Harry Smith
  • Ember Moon
  • Oney Lorcan
  • B-Fab
  • Gran Metalik
  • Lince Dorado
  • Eva Marie
  • Karrion Kross
  • Scarlett

Some of these names have already started taking on bookings from independent companies, including Gran Metalik and Ember Moon who will both be competing under new monikers.

Keith Lee has also been in the news for trademarking his own nicknames. The title of ‘Limitless’ is now the official property of Keith Lee, who will continue to go by the name we have all known to recognise him by as he re-embarks into the independent scene.

Fellow former NXT Champion, Karrion Kross, has taken a new venture into the realm of film and television. Kross has been pretty open about his opportunities on social media, posting a new look as well as a renewed vigour following his release.

There is little news on the rest of the names featured on the above list, but we’re sure that now their no-compete clauses have expired, we’ll start seeing them crop up in various different promotions.
