Saber Interactive have a surprising hit on their hands with World War Z, having sold over 1 million copies in its first week alone. What isn’t a shock is that they plan on supporting the game extensively post-launch, as they’ve revealed their Season 1 roadmap. Check it out below.

The first season of free updates will take things through to July, with the first order of business being a new Tokyo mission and zombie type, which will arrive later this month. The zombie type can spit some deadly virus at you, and can also resurrect if it hasn’t been taken care of properly. In June, players will be given a new Extreme Difficulty mode, while July will introduce a weekly challenge mode.

During this season, players will also be given access to new weapons, weapon variants, skins and accessories for their characters. Saber are also planning on adding a horde-style survival mode, private lobbies, improvements to the PvPvZ matches and more visual settings for PC players like FOV sliders.

Saber Interactive certainly aren’t resting on their laurels when it comes to World War Z, and it’ll be interesting to see how the game changes over the coming months. Have you been trying to Outlive The Dead in World War Z? Excited for this new update? Let us know in the comments.
