Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered Listings Briefly Appear Online

Streisand Effect, go.

Mass Effect

Today, some listings appeared on the website of Portuguese retailer GamingReplay for the Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered on PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. Naturally, these listings have been taken down, but not before they were captured and screenshotted by industry insider Nibel, who posted it to his Twitter.

While the new box art logo is actually just a holdover from when the trilogy was bundled together for PS3 and Xbox 360, the fact remains that the ME Trilogy seems to be coming back, and soon at that. The listings seemed to point to an October release, and considering that the trilogy would be coming to the Switch if these listings are true, maybe we’ll see something at tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct Mini.

Of course, these listings aren’t the 100% confirmation that we’ll be stepping back into the N7 armour of Shepard as they save the galaxy, one shag at a time, or that it would be releasing as soon as October. We’ll have to wait and see what EA and Bioware have to announce in the coming weeks, but let it be known now: a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster, with all the DLC, would be my favourite news on the Citadel.
