E3 2018: Forza Horizon 4 Announced, Not 5 Like The Leak Said

Horizon 4

Guess the leak can’t be right every time. During today’s Xbox Media Briefing, it was announced that Forza Horizon 4 would be coming out on October 2nd, and not Forza Horizon 5 like that Walmart Canada leak alluded to. Seems like not every game franchise can skip entries like it’s nothing. Looking at you Fallout: 76. Also, Horizon 4 will be included in Game Pass, which is brilliant.

In a further act of defiance of this leak culture, Forza Horizon 4 will be taking place in England instead of the long running rumour of Japan. Please give it some time before this game earns the comparison of being “The British Version of The Crew”.

The reveal came complete with both a reveal trailer and a live on-stage demo that’s still going as I type this. The demo showcased both the incredible graphics that Forza has become known for, along with the fact that Horizon 4’s version of Britain will be a shared world that will feature the entire community. We also get a look at the new Seasons feature that’ll radically change the way you drive.
