No matter what console allegiance you may have, it’s doubtful that you won’t be able to show some form of appreciation for the iconic Legend of Zelda series. Since its start in 1986, it’s a franchise which hasn’t been on top form in recent years, but has still had releases which are more accomplished and masterful than 99% of whatever else is out there.
Its most loved entry so far (and stalwart of most “Best Game Ever” lists) is Ocarina of Time for the N64 as its influence simply just drips off most modern adventurers in one way or another. Later releases such as Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess are mentioned as close competition, as well as early games like A Link to the Past. There haven’t been any objectively awful games released in its near thirty year history. Well, only if you count Link: The Faces of Evil but that’s non-canon, so shush.
As you might expect, the Zelda series has a fairly rabid fanbase with many people going so far as to permanently etch some Legend of Zelda tattoos onto their skin. Considering it’s such a vibrant and expansive world, however, it should come as no surprise that the below tattoos are nothing short of excellent.
Oh, first things first: Link is the main character and who you play as (for the most part). Zelda is a princess you are tasked to save in the majority of the games.
