Rocket League Takes You Under the Sea for New Arena

It’s almost as if Psyonix want to burn through every idea imaginable without leaving much room to navigate for content in a Rocket League sequel. We’ve seen everything from The Witcher, basketball, and even microtransactions, so you have to applaud them for continuously adding to the game to keep it fresh, far fresher than a lot more recent games.

If you’re a Rocket League veteran, you’re going to love this: you will soon be able to play crazyball under the sea with the new Aquadome arena.

It looks as sleek and polished as you’d expect a Rocket League map to be with plenty of aesthetic pleasantries carrying the theme. Also, there’s a shark, so even if it was paid DLC, I would be buying it. Luckily for me and my accountant, Aquadome is free. The temptation to pick up a new car might be all too real to resist, though.

There’s a definite BioShock vibe going on here, which reminds me: we just reviewed the Collection. Hey, have to keep those bounce rates down somehow, right?

You can go under the sea with Rocket League towards the end of October.

ARE ROCKET LEAGUE’S MICROTRANSACTIONS EXCUSABLE?
