They say that you should always keep your cards close to your chest, whether you’re playing poker or Pokemon. Showing your hand too early can ruin your chances and make you like look like a right Nigel when you’re called out on it.
Although the outcome was pretty obvious from the outset, Warner Bros have released a new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that essentially shows everything that’s going to damn happen. Don’t believe me? Just watch the trailer below for proof (beware of spoilers, obviously).

It’s a silly move from WB to lay out all of their cards on the table when they haven’t even sat down yet. Instead of dripfeeding information like they have been doing up until this point, they just thought “fuck it” and showed everything at once. Although Bats and Supes were obviously going to end up as chums, it doesn’t make any sense to basically confirm that three months before the film even comes out.
What’s even more misguided is the reveal of Doomsday as the big bad. They really should have taken a page from Marvel’s book when it comes to hiding twists; remember how confused you were when The Mandarin was just some bloke in Iron Man 3?
Will probably still watch it, though.
