Memories of Green: San Francisco #6

Jo has an unwelcome encounter in this Friday’s episode of MoG: San Francisco.

Subject – Empty Car

Went back to the Inclusion Zone after work today to give Saul his medicine. I didn’t stay for too long. The pregnancy is definitely draining me, all I wanted to do is get back home and lie in front of the TV. Is anyone else watching The Enemy Without on Fox? It gets a little preachy, but I haven’t seen a miniseries like it in a while. Worth a watch, definitely.

Saul seemed surprised, a little offended, when I handed him the pills and the gasmask. The boy he’s looking after, I forget his name, looked up at him and asked if there was anything wrong. Saul forced a smile and told him that there wasn’t, that nothing was going to happen to him. Men and their pride, right? Just take your damn meds so I can feel like I’ve done something right at least. I just hope Dee makes him take them.

There was an empty car with at the side of the road on the way back. The highbeams were on, shining through the smog and the engine was running. But there was no driver at the wheel. I slowed down as I walked past and in a nearby alley I saw a bunch of C.P, rifles out, pulling something behind a dumpster. A fire flickered just out of sight. I looked one of them right in the gasmask and he moved to come after me.

I ran all the way back to the train station.
