There’s just been something missing about the electronic dance scene for the past half decade, a Justice-sized hole that hasn’t adequately been filled. Well, the French marvels are back with “Safe and Sound”, their first new material in quite some time.
Initial impressions are that the break hasn’t seen them return with a brand new song, just a tweaking of the one that made a huge impact on the scene that many have tried emulating since. The gargantuan basslines and sing-songy vocals are back in all their glory, and not a moment too soon. A new album won’t be too far behind this single.
