One of the biggest phenomenons on Steam in recent memory, Stardew Valley is going to be getting an unlikely port to all major home consoles, it has been revealed at E3.

It was unveiled at Microsoft’s E3 press conference, but a blog post on the game’s official website went into greater detail.

“It’s very important to me that playing Stardew Valley with console controllers is intuitive and effortless. I’ll be the first to admit that the current, rudimentary controller support in the PC version is far from ideal, and it will need to be adjusted prior to the launch.

“I’m also excited about the possibility of utilizing special console features like the Wii U’s second screen!”

It’s coming out in Q4 2016, which means that you should keep an eye out for it between October and December. People were so in love with the game that they ended up buying it for complete strangers, so here’s hoping some of that love can translate to consoles.
