The first teaser trailer for Crisis in Six Scenes, the upcoming Amazon show from Woody Allen has appeared online.
The show, which will be Allen’s first foray into TV, is set in the 1960s, and is a classic slice of his particular brand of comedy.
It’s hard to say if this will be the tone of the entire series, or whether it will adopt some of the more dramatic themes that also regular staples in his work.
Starring, written, and directed by the 80 year old, this is an impressive feat, especially considering it doesn’t seem to have derailed his policy of releasing one movie every year, Indeed, the trailer for the Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart-starring Cafe Society was released earlier this year.
It is scheduled for release on 30th September.
