Some heavy criticisms were thrown at Street Fighter V when it was released. Many were pleased with the gameplay, but you would have quite the job to convince anyone that it isn’t lacking in the content department. Street Fighter V was effectively a chocolate Easter egg: delicious on the outside, hollow and saddening on the inside.
Capcom were meant to release a huge update for it this month, but it’s since been pushed back to the start of July. We’ll be getting a new story mode, new levels, alternate costumes, and two new characters. We know all about Ibuki already, now it’s time for series veteran Balrog to make his anticipated entrance.
Talk about trying to make up for lost time, right? Balrog will also bring his Street Fighter II stage with him on July 1st. I might have to try to play this game again, even though I am fairly sure my blood pressure has only just lowered from the last round. Check it out on Amazon
